The FLICK fiasco

You know how sometimes a section of a newspaper gets accidentally printed twice, one on top of the other, and some of the letters look joined together? Well, that's exactly what happened with this week's cartoon. The L and the I in FLICK joined up, and caused quite a stir in Corpus Christi. And to add to this fiasco, the caption (I blame the pheromones) was accidentally omitted, so the cartoon had no punch line. The poor newspaper editors had to field irate callers all day. Apparently, even the radio DJ's were talking about it all morning.

A few weeks later, the paper canceled their subscription to Everyday People. They said it had nothing to do with the FLICK fiasco, and that it had everything to do with budget.
